when you dorm at ucsd, is there a time limit as to when you have to be in the dorm? can you spend a night not in your dorm??

OH ANON IMny SO SORRY. I TOTALLY MISSED THIS IN MY INBOX.  and there is no time limit, just make sure you have your keys so your roommates/suitemates/apartmentmates don’t lock you out, esp after dark.  if there is ever a problem, you can call the CSO to let you in, but no, there’s not a curfew if that’s what you’re wondering.

yes you can spend a night not in your dorm, you can spend however many nights away as you’d like.  the “official” rule is that you can have guests in your room (people who don’t live there) spend the night to up to 3 nights, and up to 6 nights a quarter or something, but honestly, if your suitemates/roommates are all in agreement, there is no way anyone would know how long someone stays in a dorm that’s not theirs.

sorry for the essay…I hope that helps :)

It’s college! you can do what you want! (Safely… and smartly :))
